US Earth Day Film Festival displayes five Iran movies

Five Iranian movies have been screened in various sections of the Earth Day Film Festival in the United States.

Co-directed by Afshin Hashemi and Mohsen Qarai, ‘Don’t Be Tired’ vied at the festival's feature film section.

“Don’t Be Tired is a timely and inspiring film that elucidates universal commonalities even in light of outward differences and language barriers. Hashemi has clear and comedic mastery as a director,” the official selection announcement read.

‘Only Five Minutes’ by Mohammad Mohammadian and ‘A Share of Share’ by Kaveh Jaheh are Iranian films that competed in the short films section.

 Also, 'Full Color’ and ‘Red’, both directed by Ario Saffarzadegan, were displayed in the animation section.

The Earth Day Film Festival is a platform to showcase art and film projects of Earth sensitive subjects.

The 3rd edition of the Earth Day Film Festival was organized on April 19-21, 2017 in the US state of California.
